What is the estimated completion time for a new website ?
The timeline varies depending on the plan selected. For our Business plan, a standard 5-7 page website is typically completed within 2-3 weeks. Templated websites usually take around 1-2 weeks, whereas custom-designed sites generally require 3-4 weeks.
How do you handle maintenance, website speed, and SEO?
Our monthly plans offer comprehensive services including on-page SEO, speed optimization, and ongoing maintenance. These plans are customized to address your website’s specific requirements, ensuring optimal performance without the need for separate hourly charges.
What themes and plugins are you able to assist with?
Our team has extensive experience with a variety of popular WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring that your site is tailored to your specific needs. We specialize in customizing, integrating, and providing ongoing support for many of the most widely used themes and plugins available in the market.
Do you provide services for existing websites?
Absolutely! We offer a full range of services for existing WordPress websites, including custom development, regular maintenance, and performance optimization. Whether you need updates, feature enhancements, or improvements in speed and security.
How can I submit work requests and track progress?
We’ve made collaborating with us even more flexible and hassle-free. Choose from two convenient options:
Integrate with Your Existing System: If you already have a project management system in place, we can seamlessly integrate with it. Your dedicated project manager will adapt to your system, and you can submit WordPress tasks directly within your environment. All updates, communications, and notifications will happen in your preferred system.
Use Our Custom PM Tool: If you’d prefer, you can use our user-friendly custom project management tool. It’s designed to fit your needs, where you can submit WordPress tasks and track progress. We’ll keep all communications, updates, and notifications within the tool, and you’ll still get email notifications for updates. You can check out how it works by viewing our demo here.
Whichever option you choose, the process is simple and efficient. You send us tasks, and we handle the rest – from daily progress updates to final delivery. For a deeper understanding of task types, such as new site builds, ongoing maintenance, and support, be sure to check our FAQ section.
Is it true that I can submit limitless tasks?
Absolutely! You can assign an limitless number of tasks to our WordPress experts. We’ll focus on one task at a time, completing it before moving on to the next. Unlike many competitors, we don’t impose any limits on the type or time frame for tasks.
To ensure smooth internal management and fairness to all clients, we provide a general estimate of the time WordPress developers typically spend on tasks each day, which you can find on our pricing page.
We pride ourselves on being transparent and fair, and our clients appreciate that too. While we support a reasonable volume of tasks, we’ll always keep you informed if there’s a need for adjustments.
How much time does it take to complete a website project?
Each website is unique, and the timeline can vary depending on factors like the number of pages, design complexity, third-party integrations, whether you’re using a custom theme or page builders, and any extra functionalities outside of WordPress core. Our dedicated testing team ensures everything is thoroughly checked before delivery, which also impacts the overall timeline. While we can only provide ballpark estimates based on our experience, here’s a general idea:
- Two landing pages on a Starter plan can be completed within one week.
- A typical five-page website with unique templates takes around three weeks on our Pro package.
- Custom-designed websites with a custom theme and advanced features (like ACF Pro) generally require three weeks on our Business plan.
What kinds of tasks can I delegate to your team?
You can submit a wide variety of tasks related to WordPress, Design, SEO, PPC, and Shopify. For WordPress, tasks can include new website development, customization, debugging, resolving plugin conflicts, fixing bugs, enhancing site security, theme and plugin updates, content migration, website migration, On-Page SEO, and working with page builders.
For Shopify, we offer assistance with new website development, configuration, and integration with third-party platforms. However, tasks that require building custom Shopify applications are outside the scope of our services.

Agencies choose to collaborate with us because they are either short on time or need additional expert WordPress resources to support their projects
How much time will it take to finish a task?
The timeline depends on the type and complexity of the task. To give you a clearer picture, we’ve provided examples of small, medium, large, and new/redesign website tasks on our pricing table under ‘Sample Tasks.’ Small and medium tasks typically take 24-48 hours, with the task’s nature determining the exact timeframe. No task is too big for us to manage.
Agencies choose to partner with us when they need more WordPress expertise or are looking to save time on their projects.
What sets you apart from other service providers?
As stated in our plans, we offer truly limitless tasks. You can assign any type of WordPress task with no time restrictions. Our plans go beyond just website support and maintenance. We also cover new website development, plugin customization, plugin development, custom theme creation, data migration, server setup, and custom fields.
After successfully building our web agency in Ahmedabad, India, we sought a way to assist other agencies. We brought together our team of expert WordPress developers and launched a white-label WordPress partner program for growing agencies. This program was a massive success, enabling us to consistently deliver results on time for our agency partners.
Driven by the success of our white-label WP program, we created WP Devoted to help even more agencies scale. For some agencies, we act as their core development team for all things WordPress, while for others, we’re a ready resource to tackle any tasks as they arise.
Can I add more sites beyond the ones included in my plan?
Absolutely! You can easily upgrade to one of our larger plans. If you need support for more than 100 websites per month, feel free to reach out to us for customized solutions and additional details.
What types of websites can you assist with?
We specialize in supporting WordPress websites of all kinds, from personal blogs to small business sites, large-scale platforms, membership sites, WooCommerce/eCommerce stores, and e-Learning portals. Our team has successfully worked on over 500 diverse WordPress projects. If you need assistance with Shopify, please contact your project manager, and we can evaluate the project’s needs and team availability to determine if we can offer support.
How do I place an order for a new website build or a large project?
We’ve developed a comprehensive project coding brief template that captures essential details like client information, asset sharing, plugin preferences, deadlines, functionality requirements, page designs, and plugin licenses. Tested with over 100+ projects, this template ensures an efficient and consistent way to communicate your project requirements to our team.
Once the brief is completed and reviewed, we’ll break down each page or significant website section into individual tasks within our project management tool. Work will begin based on priority, with daily task updates provided. For WooCommerce-based e-commerce sites, we have a specialized version of the brief tailored to the unique needs of e-commerce development.
Can you assist with the ongoing maintenance of my client websites each month?
Website retainers and WP Care Plans are crucial to keeping your clients’ websites secure, up-to-date, and optimized for performance. They ensure your clients’ sites are always backed up, functional, and ready to drive traffic and support their marketing efforts.
We’ve designed streamlined systems and processes to handle the ongoing maintenance of WordPress sites. For more details, visit our WP Care Plan page. Alternatively, if you’d like to manage the maintenance through your own systems, you can request ongoing support from your project manager under the development plan.
How do you manage multiple clients and tasks at once?
We’re here to help you manage multiple clients and tasks efficiently. Our project management tool allows you to create tasks for each client, set priority levels, and receive daily updates on progress. If you already have a project management system in place, our project manager can seamlessly integrate into your workflow, ensuring smooth task management and client communication.
How many revisions are included in my package?
We offer limitless revisions for each task to ensure you’re completely satisfied with the outcome. Our team of developers and designers is committed to delivering high-quality work that meets your expectations every time.
What is the best way to securely share sensitive website information, such as credentials and account details?
For secure sharing of site credentials and account details, we use LastPass, a trusted platform that ensures your information is safely managed across teams. Your account manager will also introduce you to your dedicated project manager and schedule an onboarding call within 12 hours of signing up.
What’s the process for upgrading or downgrading my plan?
Our aim is to remain flexible to your evolving needs, rather than restricting you to fixed plans. You can easily downgrade when you no longer require assistance or upgrade when there’s an increase in demand.
Upgrade: You can log in to our PM Tool and upgrade your plan at any time. Your next billing date will stay the same, and you’ll be charged a prorated amount for the remaining period until your next billing cycle.
Example: If you purchased the STARTER plan on April 15th with a renewal date of May 15th, and you upgrade to the PRO plan on May 7th, you’ll be charged a prorated amount for the period from May 7th to May 15th. Your next billing date will still be May 15th, and from that date forward, you’ll be charged for the PRO plan.
Downgrade: You can log in to our PM Tool and downgrade your plan at any time. While we do not offer refunds, any difference in pricing will be credited toward your next month’s bill.
Example: If you purchased the PRO plan on April 15th with a renewal date of May 15th, and you decide to downgrade to the STARTER plan on May 7th, no refund will be issued. Instead, the difference will be credited toward your bill on May 15th. Your billing date will remain unchanged, and you’ll be charged for the STARTER plan minus the credit amount for the period from May 7th to May 15th.
What is the billing process for my plan?
Your credit card will be automatically charged each month on the anniversary of your signup date, for the amount corresponding to your selected plan(s).
Do you offer refunds for your services?
We offer a 14-day risk-free trial during the sign-up process. If you decide not to continue with our services, simply request a refund, and we’ll process it for your order.
Can I modify or cancel my plan after signing up? Are there any long-term contracts or hidden fees involved?
Our plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts, so you can cancel at any time before your next billing cycle begins. There are no hidden fees or overages, and you can view all the features included in each plan on our pricing page.
How can I find more details or learn more about your services?"
If you have any other questions not addressed in our FAQ, feel free to reach out to us at hello@wpdevoted.com or schedule a demo call with us.
What should I keep in mind before starting to work with you?
We’ve compiled answers to the most common questions here. However, if you need further details or assistance, we’d be happy to arrange a demo call with you.
Inside our PM tool, you’ll find all the key resources you need right on the dashboard. This includes links to the shared Google Drive folder, the monthly website maintenance checklist, sample project coding briefs, and helpful tutorials. If you’d like to integrate your dedicated project manager from WP Devoted into your workflow, just schedule a call with them to begin.
Is it possible to hire WPDevoted for a one-time project?
Absolutely! You can choose any of our Dev plans and cancel it once your project is completed, or opt for the bucket plan, which is valid for one year, ideal for one-time projects.
What does Shopify support include?
We’re thrilled to share that we’ve expanded our development plans to now include Shopify support! Our services are tailored to help you maintain an up-to-date, visually appealing store. Here’s how we can assist you:
Content Updates: Whether it’s refreshing product listings, blog posts, or other content, we’ll make sure your site stays current. Liquid Template Customization: Looking to refine the design of your Shopify store? Our team can customize your Liquid templates to reflect your brand’s unique style. Design Enhancements: From updating homepage layouts to adding new banners or making small adjustments to improve the user experience, we’re here to elevate your store.
Please note, while we specialize in maintaining and enhancing your Shopify store’s content, templates, and design, our services do not include building new Shopify sites or developing custom functionalities. Our focus is on optimizing and maintaining your existing store to ensure it operates at its best.
How can I submit tasks and track their progress?
We’ve introduced a more flexible way to work together. You have two options to choose from:
Integrate with Your Existing System: If you already use a project management system, you can bring your dedicated project manager on board within your platform. They’ll easily integrate into your current workflow. When you need WordPress-related tasks, simply submit them through your project management system, and all communication, updates, and notifications will happen within that environment.
Use Our Custom PM Tool: If you prefer a dedicated solution, you can opt to use our custom project management tool. It’s designed to be user-friendly and tailored to your needs. Submit your WordPress tasks directly through this tool, where we’ll handle all task-related communication, updates, and notifications. You can even preview how it works by checking out our demo here. Plus, you’ll still get email notifications for any updates.
Regardless of which option you choose, collaboration remains seamless. You submit tasks, and we’ll handle the rest. You’ll receive daily updates on progress, be notified when tasks are complete, and be able to provide feedback easily. To learn more about the different types of tasks we offer, such as new website development, ongoing maintenance (including tips for creating WP Care Plans for your clients), and support services, check out our FAQ section.
Is technical support available around the clock?
Our technical support is available from 12:30 AM to 10:30 AM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Any support tickets submitted outside these hours will be promptly addressed as soon as our regular support hours resume.
What information do you need to set up support on my website?
Once you’ve purchased your support plan, we’ll ask you to securely share your WordPress admin credentials and file access via LastPass. This allows us to connect to your site and install the services included in your plan (such as security monitoring, backups, and plugins). Rest assured, our team keeps this information confidential and will never share it with anyone outside of WP Devoted.
Additionally, we may request details about any customized plugins on your site, as we’ll need to exercise extra caution when updating them.
Do you perform updates on a staging site first?
Routine updates are applied directly to the live site. However, if you sign up for a site that hasn’t been updated in a while, or if there’s a significant update from a plugin, theme, or WordPress itself, we’ll first apply the update on a staging site. Once you review and approve the changes, we’ll then proceed with the updates on the live site.
Do you support WordPress multisite?
WordPress Multisite and Multi-network are not supported on the Care site addon. To begin maintenance and updates on your sites, we would need a detailed understanding of your current setup and configuration. Please contact us at info@wpdevoted.com to discuss the maintenance of your Multisite.
What steps are taken if my site is hacked?
We provide continuous monitoring for all sites with an active Care site add-on subscription. Using a malware scanner from our security partner, BlogVault, we keep a close eye on your site’s security. If malware is detected, our technical support team manually reviews the issue to confirm whether it’s a real threat or a false alarm. In the event of an actual security problem, our top priority is to respond and resolve the issue promptly during business hours, ensuring security concerns are addressed before anything else.
If your site is compromised to the point where malware removal tools can’t fix it and manual cleanup is necessary, we will use the 30 minutes allocated to you each month for this purpose. For more severe infections requiring additional time, you can opt for our development support packages to assist with the cleanup process.
We take every precaution to ensure your site’s functionality is preserved. Before beginning any cleanup, we create a full backup of your site. If your site’s functionality is affected, don’t hesitate to contact our Support team – we’re always here to assist.
How does the monthly payment process work?
All of your website support plans will be consolidated under a single monthly subscription. You’ll be billed monthly starting from the date of your initial signup, with the total amount for all active subscriptions charged at the time of renewal. You can always visit the ‘Manage Subscriptions’ page in our PM tool to view more details about your active support plans.
Are the site reports branded with our logo?
Yes, the reports generated for your sites are fully white-labeled, featuring your company’s logo and name.
Our white-label reports include details on backups, security, uptime, and performance.
Can my clients contact the support team directly?
Yes, we offer a white-label PM tool that we can grant access to your clients. They will never see any of our team members but will be able to create tickets and tasks directly for us. We’ll provide updates through task comments. It’s up to you whether you want our comments to be visible to your clients or if you’d prefer to copy and paste the updates from your account. Rest assured, all comments will always be visible to both our team and your clients.
Does the choice of site hosting provider impact maintenance and support?
No, we can work with any website, regardless of its hosting provider. However, for sites hosted on AWS, Pantheon, Azure, and Google Cloud, there is an additional charge of $15/month.
Additionally, achieving optimal speed and security may be challenging with shared hosting, as there are limitations imposed by the hosting provider.
How frequently do you back up my website?
We automatically back up your website every day. We retain backups for the past 90 days, allowing you to restore any previous version of the site if needed.
Does WP Devoted impose any limits on site size or storage for backups?
Typically, we expect a site to use up to 5GB of space. However, if your site is larger, just let us know. For reasonable use, we can make an exception at no extra cost. We currently support sites with data sizes exceeding 6GB.
There are no limits on backup storage. Our backups are incremental, meaning only files that have changed since the last backup are saved, rather than creating a full backup of the entire site and database each time.
Are website backups performed in real time?
No, website backups are not taken in real time. Instead, backups are performed at a set time every day.
Do you protect against SQL and JavaScript injections?
We operate at the IP level, so we are unable to scan for injections directly.
Can you guarantee that my website will remain secure?
While we can’t guarantee absolute protection, we assure you that we will do everything possible to safeguard your website from threats like brute force attacks, hackers, bot attacks, and more. Our firewall will block unwanted traffic, and login protection will help prevent any brute force attempts to access your site.
Do you perform malware scans on my website?
At WP Devoted, we utilize the premium service of WPRemote to scan websites. Every site is automatically scanned every 24 hours. If you need an on-demand scan, you can simply create a task to request it.
Our scans cover the entire site, including both files and the database.
Will your plans prevent hackers from exploiting vulnerabilities?
WP Devoted utilizes the premium Malcare (third-party) service and the paid version of the iThemes Security plugin to protect against vulnerabilities. However, there are certain vulnerabilities that the firewall cannot guard against, so we strongly recommend keeping your WordPress site fully updated at all times.
What is included or excluded in the backups?
We perform incremental and complete backups of your entire WordPress site, including posts, pages, files, themes, images, and more. A WordPress site consists of two main components:
- Database – We back up the entire database.
- Files – We back up all files within your core WordPress folders (wp-content, wp-includes, and wp-admin).
This approach ensures we capture every aspect of your site.
We exclude files generated by other backup plugins, cache files, and log files, as they don’t contribute value to the backup. Backing them up would unnecessarily strain your site and could cause issues during restoration.
How many backups are stored?
We retain backups of your site for the past 90 days.
Can I adjust the time when the backup is performed?
Yes, you can. Just let us know your preferred backup time, and we’ll schedule it accordingly. Typically, we set backups to occur during your local nighttime hours.
Are there additional fees for larger websites?
We support websites with up to 40 unique pages on our Care site add-on.
Unique Page: In WordPress, a unique page refers to a template that is used to create multiple pages with different content. For example, a blog archive page might have the same layout for each post but different copy and images. Similarly, service pages can share the same layout but differ in content. After updating your site, our QA team reviews one page from each unique layout to ensure everything looks and functions as expected. More unique pages require more time to test after each update.
For sites with more than 40 unique pages, we charge an additional $5 per month for every extra set of 10 unique pages.
Additionally, websites with user logins, eCommerce functionality, memberships, LMS, or other complex features typically involve more third-party plugins and require extra maintenance time. We’ll audit your site and notify you if additional charges apply. On average, such sites may incur an extra cost of $15-$30 per month.
Please note, we do not support HIPAA-compliant sites or multi-site network installations.
What types of tasks can be handled with an additional 30 minutes per month?
Each month, we maintain your site and provide an additional 30 minutes of development time. You can use this time for tasks such as:
- Restoring your site from a backup
- Copy edits
- Site cleanup
- Troubleshooting
- Bug fixes
What’s included in the SEO and Core Web Vitals audit report?
Each month, we perform an on-page SEO and Core Web Vitals audit of your site and provide you with a white-labeled report that you can easily share with your clients.
The on-page SEO audit reviews issues and opportunities based on SEO factors such as meta titles and descriptions, image optimization, content quality, robots.txt, heading tags, broken links, and schema.
The Core Web Vitals audit focuses on your site’s speed performance, identifying any issues that may be hindering loading times and preventing your site from passing Google’s Core Web Vitals assessment.
Will your team adhere to our processes?
Yes, we can. While we have our own internal processes and SOPs designed to deliver the best ROI, we are flexible and can adapt to your specific processes to meet your needs.
What if I require additional hours of support for my website?
Yes, you can request extra support through our Starter Development package. This package can be applied to multiple websites and is ideal for when you need assistance beyond what our site add-ons provide. With this package, you’ll have access to daily expert development resources to assist with any WordPress needs.

What plugins or tools do you use for SEO optimizations and fixes?
After reviewing the site, we suggest using SEO plugins such as Yoast SEO or Rank Math (free or paid versions). If an SEO plugin is already installed, we’ll only make necessary setup and configuration adjustments. For schema verification, we primarily use the 301 Redirection plugin and the Schema Markup Validator Tool.
Do you provide any premium plugins?
No
What type of schema markup will be implemented?
You will receive the Aggregate Rating and FAQ schema. For the FAQ schema, please provide the questions and answers you’d like included.
Will I receive any Google AdSense or Google Ads (AdWords) services?
No
Can you guarantee that my website’s speed score will exceed 90?
We can optimize your website to achieve a 90+ speed score on Google and other Page Speed tools. However, certain factors beyond our control may prevent us from reaching the desired score. These include the website’s theme (e.g., outdated or bulky premium themes, or themes with underlying issues), hosting conditions (such as shared hosting, slow servers, insufficient space, or bandwidth), page weight, network conditions, and heavy customizations that could cause issues during optimization. In these cases, we will strive to achieve the best possible score and offer actionable recommendations for improvement.
Do you provide optimization services for WooCommerce stores?
Yes, we do.
With an extra 2 hours per month, what tasks can you assist with?
Each month, we ensure your site remains optimized, plus you get 2 hours of development work. You can use this time for the following tasks:
- Copy edits
- Troubleshooting
- Bug fixes
- Adding small features
- Uploading blog posts
Are there any restrictions?
We specialize in optimizing the speed of all types of WordPress websites.
Improving page load speed isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. It requires expert manual work combined with the appropriate plugins, tailored to each website. First, we conduct a thorough manual audit to identify the root causes of slow performance. Based on our findings, we proceed with the necessary optimizations.
However, some websites have limited potential for improvement. Examples include sites with over 20 plugins, those hosted on low-capacity shared servers, sites with heavy custom queries crucial for operation, and WooCommerce stores that have slowed down due to an excessive number of products and orders. These types of sites can be challenging, if not impossible, to significantly speed up.
In these cases, we will provide detailed recommendations after the audit and offer a full refund.
How much time do you dedicate to my website each month?
We dedicate up to 8 hours each month to site speed optimization. Any unfinished tasks will be carried over to the following month.
Is this service offered on a monthly basis?
Yes, it is. Site optimization is an ongoing process, not a one-time job. Each month, we conduct speed optimization tasks to keep your website performing at its peak.
Larger websites may require more time for full optimization, and with ongoing updates and changes, re-optimization will be necessary.
However, there’s no long-term commitment required, and you can cancel at any time after the first month.
What if I require additional hours of support for my website?
Yes, you can request extra support through our Starter Development package. This package is flexible and can be applied to multiple websites. It’s ideal for when you need assistance beyond what our site add-ons provide. With this package, you’ll have access to daily expert development resources for any WordPress-related tasks.
Do you provide CDN services?
No, we don’t offer CDN services directly, but we can assist you in properly configuring it with your existing providers, such as Cloudflare or Sucuri.
